How do I register as a breeder on breedr.horse?

1. Go to www.breedr.horse/signup to register
2. Accept the verification email and then log in using your secure Username & Password

How do I add my mare(s) into breedr.horse?

1. Click ‘Add Mare’, begin typing mares name until the system recognises your mare
2. Fill in empty fields to create a detailed mare profile (not mandatory)
3. Click ‘Save’, this will trigger a free download of an Arion Mare Pedigree & add your mare to your private portfolio

Do I need to add my mare(s), or can I apply for a nomination and confirm my mare later?

You do not have to add your mare(s) at this point. When applying for a nomination, you can specify 'Mare TBC'

How do I apply for a nomination to a Swettenham stallion?

1. Sign-in into breedr.horse
2. Click the ‘Book’ tab
3. Search for Swettenham Stud in ‘Stud(s)’ field and click ‘Search’
4. Location your preferred Swettenham stallion and click ‘Apply for Nomination’
5. Click on the Mare dropdown to nominate your mare OR apply as ‘Mare TBC’
6. Tick the authorised owner box, and finally click ‘Confirm’. This triggers the application to be sent directly to Swettenham Stud for review. 

How do I know my application has been received by Swettenham?

Your private bookings dashboard, found under Account > Current Bookings, will show the application as ‘Requested’ until such time as Swettenham accept, decline or waitlist your request.

You will receive an instant notification when a decision has been made.

What happens if my application is approved?

When accepted, you will receive an email notification and your ‘Current Bookings’ dashboard will change from ‘Requested’ to ‘Confirmed’. 

If you nominated a mare, a Stallion Services Contract will be automatically generated and sent to you for your electronic signature. 

If you applied as ‘Mare TBC’, Swettenham will be in touch closer to the season to confirm the mare.

What happens if my application is rejected?

When rejected, you will receive an email notification and your ‘Current Bookings’ dashboard will change from ‘Requested’ to ‘Rejected’.

Swettenham Stud will contact you with alternative considerations.

Can I still talk directly with the Swettenham sales team about my matings?

Absolutely. The team at Swettenham would be delighted to discuss a suitable mating with all breeders.
